How do I treat a Swollen Infection?!?!

Question: How do I treat a Swollen Infection?!?
3 days ago, I was shaving my legs and i accidentally sliced (not cut) sliced a bit of my skin off :(

from then, I didn't put any disinfectant on it, except wash it with water and placed bandaids on it along with some 'wound powder'

I am quite worried now, as it has started swelling..or is now swollen because of infection and it hurts.
I know disinfectants may be too late now, but is there a way i could treat it so it will help heal or make it better before i decide to go see the doctor?

Thanks guys

Ahhhh, whatever you do, don't pick at it! It'll definitely get worse if you do, trust me. :(

What you can do though is go get a cream called Fucidin (I think). That cream works wonders for me and can get rid of any infection! Apply that and cover the wound, particularly with a porous gauze (so your skin can breathe)

Your best bet is to see a doctor though. It's quite advisable because if it gets worse, it could end up much costlier. Honestly, all you've gotta do is keep the wound clean and apply a cream that's meant to heal infections.

If you're unsure, go to a pharmacy. Most pharmacists have been to med school, so they can easily recommend something for you to use. It would save you the time and cost of visiting a normal doctor!

Good luck and get well soon. :) <3
