Cleaning ears whilst stretching?!

Question: Cleaning ears whilst stretching?
I put in my ear stretcher in my ear yesterday size is 1.6mm,
the stretcher i used was a steel stretcher called crescent or tusk (its a c shape)
the only thing i don't understand it the cleaning i have been told many things and some things i still don't quite get.
should your clean 2 times a day or more or less?
how do you clean your ear whilst stretching(the first ever one just put in)?
should i take the stretcher out to clean my ear or leave it in as i have only just put it in so it isn't properly healed?
and what should i use? should i use salt water?

Answers:

Clean your jewelry and earlobes once or twice every day with an unscented antibacterial soap. Try cleaning them when you are in the shower, because heat and moisture combined make it easier, and more comfortable, to manipulate a sore area.

Saturate your ear lobes with lather and use a cotton ball or disposable cloth to remove crusty residue. Turn the rings gently to work soap into the area and to keep them from sticking to your skin. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

Now soak your ear lobes in a solution made by combining a pinch of sea salt in a cup of warm distilled water. Soak for five to ten minutes. You can soak a cotton ball and hold it to your ear for this. Do both the front and back of each ear.
