Should my mom go to the hospital without insurance?!

Question: Should my mom go to the hospital without insurance?
Lately my mom has been having serious heart pain. She has something on her nodules and two enlarged lymph nodes that may or may not be malignant. This has been going on for several years. She really needs to go to the hospital but does not have insurance. My dads health insurance does not kick in until a month but she can't wait that long anymore because she's been in pain for two years and recently it has gotten worse. She's worried about the bill because we don't have the money. She is also scared because if she is diagnosed no one will accept her for health insurance because she will have a pre-exisiting condition. Reading online though the symptons she has been showing have been cancer symptons. Should she go or not?? Also, we can't go to charities or those other groups because between my mom and dad they make too much.

Answers:

She should be able to be covered under medicade. It is health coverage for people that can't/don't have medical insurance and need serious work done. They have to treat her if she goes to the hospital with or without insurance. If she has a heart attack and dies there won't be a pre-existing condition. If she has cancer and doesn't do anything about it she runs a high risk of not being able to fight it off and dying. She needs to go and get checked out. Try an urgent care, it is much cheaper than an ER
