I`m wide awake and can`t fall asleep, how can I sleep?!

Question: I`m wide awake and can`t fall asleep, how can I sleep?
This happens every single night. I already asked a question about this a while ago but didn`t get the answers I needed. I`m thinking about just staying up all night and then all day tommorow so I`ll get back into normal sleeping habits but I`ll probably just fall asleep by 3:00 AM and if not then I`ll fall asleep during class and I NEED to be focused in class. What should I do? Thanks!

This has been happening to me lately too. I feel all anxious like tomorrow is Christmas or something I just sing quiet songs in my head or listen to quiet music put a warn washcloth on your face and image peaceful stuff good luck!

Get off the computer, refrain from using any electronics. Bright lights will keep you awake, especially if you are using them(like typing, playing a game)

Have a bath(baths always make me sleepy) and drink some warm milk.

Turn the light off in your room and try to sleep and get comfortable, wrapping the blanket around your body, putting your head on a nice position on your pillow and allow your body to have enough
room to stretch on your bed.
Or turn on a light(not too bright, or it will keep you awake) and read the dictionary or something equally boring. You could also try singing to yourself until you feel tired.

If you want to go to bed earlier, you should stay up really late one night, and waking up really early the next day. Refrain from going for a nap and don't use the computer for two hours before you want to go to bed.

Exercise also helps you fall asleep, so try to go for a good walk or play sports or something for at least 20 minutes. Don't try caffeine, or anything loaded with sugar or chemicals, as those will keep you awake.

And if none of that stuff works, you could always try counting sheep.

Experience of hard times getting to bed.

I get the same problem. Usually I would take some Pharmicies Own(Or whatever it is) capsules before bed. It kicks in in 30 minutes, but it doesn't take you to sleep that fast. It needs time to work. I still wake up but only for a bit. You wake up in the morning feeling really refreshed and remember you woke up but you feel like it was only for a few minutes.

Hope I helped :)
