Question: How do I make sure my cut stops bleeding?
Yesterday I cut my finger vertically with a cheese grater. I couldn't get it to stop bleeding so I just put a bandage on it and it eventually stopped. I took off my bandage to change it about 3 hours later. It started to bleed again so I just put another bandage and it stopped, but quite some blood filled the bandage. Anyway what should I do? I don't want to go the hospital. How long should I wait to take off the bandage and what should I do to stop it bleeding.

Pressurize the bandages and change the bandages every so often to keep them from getting infected. If your condition persists much longer, you're going to have to go to the hospital. If you keep losing as much blood as you're describing, you could be seriously hurt.
