Do i have a sprain, fracture, or a really bad bruise?!

Question: Do i have a sprain, fracture, or a really bad bruise?
Ok so i know this sounds bad but i had an argument with my mom and i got so angry that i hit the wall a couple times, i learned my lesson and regret acting like that. Anyways my wrist was numb after and 5 mins later I had a huge swelling, i put an ice pack on it and you can barley tell that it is swollen. My dad was worried that i fractured it but i don't really think i did, their is definitely a bruise and it is soar when i touch it. I also feel a bit of a tingly sensation once in a while on that arm but it's not near the part that got bruised, it also hurts after a while when i'm writing. Other than that i can move it around just fine and even lift relatively heavy things, I think it's just a bruise but i'm not an expert and when my dad thought it was a fracture it got me scared a bit so if anyone has any information or opinion on if it is just a bruise or not please tell me! Also i have never sprained or broken anything so i have no clue what this is.

Thanks SO much!!!!!

Hitting the wall in anger... Haven't we all done that, I've never hurt my wrist but broke my knuckles or demolished one or two.
As a person who's broken many bones, I reckon it's a small fracture. Go to the doctor or A&E soon as possible just to get it checked out.
Hope it gets better soon

Broken too many bonesss

You may have a fracture or it make just be sprained. It could also be a hairline fracture. I would definatly go to your doctor to confirm any worries. In the meantime treat you arm with - RICE - rest, ice, comfort ( bandage ) and elevation. Hope this helps

yeah it'll come

I did the same thing, except I hit a brick wall, which partially broke due the the force and age of the wall and I did not even so much as bruise my fingers. At one time, I had the hands of stone, but not anymore. Keep using ice on the swelling. Rest your hand as much as possible. If it is painful to sleep at night, put a thick, fluffy pillow by your side and rest the hand on it for elevation. This will help the pain decrease. After a week and you are still having problems, I would go to a doctor for a check, just to make sure you do not have a fracture. Hopefully, you will not do this again. As for me, I learned my lesson because I had to pay for the brick wall repairs.

its not broken. i hit my limbs agaisnt walls and doors daily. i just end up with a big bruise when it comes to the surface. it will hurt. but just keep on icing it. and take antiinflammotory pills.

if it was fractured or broken, u would be in alot alot alot of pain, and the colour of ur wrist would be like black purple, and very swollen and what not. and it doesnt sound at all that u have that.

if it was sprained than u would have a hjard time using it like for writing and such.

it will take time for the brusie to surface but once it does it will take not that long to heal.
