Question: Super gross body question: How deep ARE pores?? I have one that seems almost 2" deep?
I had a blackhead on my stomach years ago and squeezed it, removing the plug. Every now and then I notice it scabs over and I'll pick it off- it's a tiny, tiny scab. But today it looked darker in the pore, so I took a needle to see if there was anything in there and I pushed it down until it stopped- AND IT DIDN'T STOP. I was lightly pushing and it just went on until I had more than 3/4 of the needle in there- and then I took it out, in total horror. There's nothing seeping out, how is it POSSIBLE that it can be? It's an endless pore! There is no blood or fluid- I can squeeze and nothing comes out.

It's not a big deal lol. Normal pores are not that deep. The thing you are describing is not a pore, but a tiny hole you have made. By continually picking at it and the initial popping, it's made almost a scar-hole (imagine it's like a piercing) I guess you could say. Like I said before, it's not a big deal and you shouldn't worry about it. To answer your question, I can't find any info on the web about how deep actual pores are, but I assure you that they aren't that deep lol.
