Question: I had an x ray last week and the Dr. said they detected some inflammation in my nose. What could cause this?

I got hit in the nose with a volleyball, but that was about 8 weeks ago. It was numb for several hours afterward, but I didn't think it was broken because it didn't bleed and didn't look out of place.

Should I follow-up with a ENT doctor to see what the issue is?

Could be some infection ,caused by the impact to the muscles!
You should see a ENT,he will be able to see a little inside the nose and give some antibiotics.Why did you had an x ray in the first place after 8 weeks? Due to some pain,right?
