Pain after mole removal?!

Question: Pain after mole removal?
I had a mole removed this morning (about 14hours ago) under my arm on my right side. The mole was large so it had to be removed surgically with local anesthetic and I think she had to go quite deep to cut it out for the biopsy. The actual procedure wasn't painful at all, however, now that the anesthetic has worn off it's become very sore, not just to touch but all the time. Is this normal?

She did ask me if I had paracetamol at home so I guess some pain is expected but this hurts!

Has anyone else had a smilar procedure?

Answers:

She cut a big hole under your arm. YES, it should somewhere along the line of being stabbed with a steak knife an inch deep.

call you doctor, see if you can get a perscription for some pain killers
