Severe abdominal pain???what is it?!

Question: Severe abdominal pain???what is it?
This morning iwoke up with a really bad pain in my stomach ad abdominal area and it hurts to move. What is wrong with me? Also I felt sick to my stomach and stayed in bed til 4 pm but my temp. was normal.

Answers:

tight back muscles can press onto the nerves, as they leave the spine, of the organs which would cause the organs to go into pains. Pressure on the nerves to your stomach causes it to release more gastric acid which will burn your stomach lining. You could have slept in a way that caused the pressure to make them do that. To get rid of the pain you have to free up your back muscles and here's how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Hello,

What side is the pain on?

Right or left.

Is the pain on the right side of your abdominal area? Is the pain always there, or does it come and go, like in waves? How is your appetite? What type of pain is it? Sharp? Stabbing? Dull? Achey?

The most common causes of right abdominal pain that starts, ' just like that' is usually:

- Gallstones

- Inflammation of the Gallbladder

Do you have pain in your upper abdominal area under the Rib Cage? Is it a few inches or lower than that? Is the pain dull or achey or severe? Does the pain spread to your back? Does it comes in waves, or is it always there? Is your pain worse after you eat a meal, especially something fatty and greasy? If so, I would say go to the doctor and have your Gallbladder checked out.

- Ulcers
Ulcers: Ulcers are sores or open wounds that form and are very painful

-Kidney Stones
Kidney Stones: Kidney Stones are stones that for in the Kidneys.

Where did the pain start, on the side or Upper Right Abdominal area and move? Are you trying to get comfortable; but, can't? Are you sweating? Does the pain come in waves? If you say ' yes' to any of these I would to be asked to check fir Kidney Stones as well.

-Appendicitis
Appendicitis: Appendicitis is a small pouch thing that hangs in your lower right abdominal area, and when it comes inflamed you have Appendicitis and need to get to the E.R. Appendicitis can be life threatening if left untreated.
