Question: Ear congestion won't go away! Please help!?
I've had ear congestion resulting in hearing loss for about 2 weeks now. It seems I've done everything. I've been to the doctor and have been prescribed penicillin taken with advil and sudafed for a week which has done nothing. I've put peroxide in my ear to loosen things up but that doesn't work either! I've heard of the candle method but I don't feel this is safe.
Has anybody else had this problem persist regardless of treatment? How did you deal with it? How long until it went away? Do you have any solutions?

You might want to seek our an actual ear doctor and see if they might need to drain the ear. Thats what they had to do to me a couple years back when i had excess fluid in my ear.
