Does warm milk really make you tired?

Does warm milk really help you sleep? Is there any reasoning behind it, if it does?


Answers:

No. Milk does contain Melatonin and Tryptophan, which will make you drowsy, but the levels found in a glass of milk are too low to be of any use. Warm milk making you sleepy is more psychological than anything. The placebo effect, if you will.
