When to go back to activity after microfracture?!

Question:

When to go back to activity after microfracture?

In the bottom portion of my squat, I feel a pain in my bone that is right where the hamstring and glute meet. I'm almost positive that its a micro bone fracture because ive had the same problem on my opposite leg where my groin is.

my question is, the pain is lessening as the days pass by but when exactly is it okay to go back to the gym? Ive read that bones are like muscles: if u dont use em, u lose em. so in that case, should i b doing more activity rather than the constant laying around and not doing anything in hopes of making it heal?

Answers:

you need to keep moving but if it is what you think it is you do not want to put too much strain on it
like doing squats
or any motion that is like it

why are your bones doing this

how old are you

you should talk to your doc about
taking calcium
vita D
magnesium
manganese

shaklee has a great vitamin supplement
to find a dealer you can either look in your locol phone book under shaklee or go to
shaklee.com

it has
calcium phosphate dibasic
calcium carbonate and calcium citrate
phosphorus
magnesium
zinc
copper
manganese
vitamin D3

all in one tab

also if you drink green tea
it has the ability to help build bone up
and is high in vitamins

you can drink it hot or make a iced tea with it

it is possible for runners to get stress fractures
but it usually takes allot for this to happen
make sure you talk with your doc to make sure nothing else is going on that is more serious
