Has anyone ever gotten your naval pierced?

I'm getting my belly button pierced next week and I'm nervous. Does it hurt? Anyone have any ideas as how to numb the pain? or at least dull it for a little?


Answers:

I got mine pierced when i was 15. The pain wasn't bad. Do not take anything before you go- it will make you bleed more and hurt worse! I had it for a few years and it was fine- no problems. But then when i was 18- it got pulled through and then got infected(even though i did everything right) That was the pain- after wards healing. I am 21 now and i still have a scar and probably always will!
