Is whiskey a good alternative to sleeping pills?!

Question:

Is whiskey a good alternative to sleeping pills?

They say that counting sheep can make one sleep.
But it's very difficult to count a sheep at night, I tried many times but couldn't see a sheep jump over a fence. I can't count, I can't see any white sheep, it's not easy.
Sleeping pills make me forgetful of things after sleep. My memory suffers. So I decided to try liquor instead of pills. I learned about whiskey when my visiting aunt drank half a glass of it and she fell asleep. She wasn't talking anymore a lot of blah blah blah or asking endless recurring questions, she was silenced by alcohol. I drank one this morning, my headache began but I fell asleep. Now I have it in front of me to drink, yuk, it is very heavy like a dragon smoke in my nostril and alcohol to beat my brain. I'm just testing this. Comments? Thanks.

Bad _Fish showed her dumbness, a retarded smelly bad fish. She couldnt say better words. The more I couldn't sleep.

Answers:

I have found that alcohol is great for GOING to sleep, yet later after about 3 hours or so I waken and either have rapid heart rate or feel hot and then cannot return to sleep. This is especially with dark colored liquids like bourbon or red wine which cause headache too. All you can do is experiment. If you drink more than one a night I think it can also alter your memory or make it slower. Exercise is great for sleep as well as not eating anything 3 hours prior to bedtime and no caffeine in the form of coffee, tea, chocolate and also no aged cheeses. Just from my experience. Another thing you can try is counting backwards from a 4 or 5 digit number. All that or counting sheep does is try to have you focus on something meaningless instead of your daily problems. Nitey Nite
