Is freon coolant dangerous to ingest [accident, not druggie]?!

Question:

Is freon coolant dangerous to ingest [accident, not druggie]?

I was so idiotically chipping away at the freezer of an extremely old mini-fridge when suddenly i punctured a hole and a big blast of pressurized freon-steam came bursting into my face. I got out of the way in time to wash my hands but i guess i didn't think to wash out my face. I was smelling it for a good 5-10 minutes afterward but after that I got away from it. I have a slight headache, but I think I'm fine--should I go see a doctor or am I fine?

Answers:

You are going to be fine. As long as you got clean air soon as possible the headache becomes a side affect. It will not hurt you unless it is done long term but I do suggest you be more careful....
Take an aspirin you`ll be good as new..
Be careful
