Given up smoking-Patches are Hurting me?

I have given up smoking for 11 days now and am using the nicotine patch. but just over the last couple of days wherever i use the patch i get deep pains in my muscle. It is agony, like i have wrenched the muscle. Any ideas what i can do apart from not use a patch,
Thanks.

Answers:

NO. You should not continue smoking. I checked smoking patches online for side effects. It didn't say anything about muscle pain. Maybe, that is a normal effect for you; cleaning out your system. If it continues consult your doctor. Check the instructions with your patches and see if they say anything about muscle pain as a side effect.
My son quit smoking after 25 years without the patch or any other help. He just made up his mind to quit. It's been 5 years now without smoking.
Good luck to you. Don't give up. You have already gotten a good start.
