Pain in my right thigh...?!

Question:

Pain in my right thigh...?

I work out 6X/week. Recently, I noticed that I am taking more time to start urinating. Once I do that, I don't have any problem. I don't have any pain while urination. Sometimes, I feel itchy sensation on the tip of my penis. I feel like my balls are extremely dry. However, recently, I started to have discomfort in my left leg. I could run on the thread mill the other day but today I couldn't really run. I am able to walk but I just have some minor discomfort in my left thigh. It stretches from my left testicular area to the lower thigh. Can you please tell me what's up? Do I need to watch out for anything?

Answers:

it sounds like you may have a groin injury and thigh pull. That can definately be caused by excessive exercising with improper use of the groin area. If it is just strained there are some exercises that you may want to try. If this doesnt work and it still bothers you then you should consult with a doctor. Try toning down on the working out thing, for it will only irratate it more, and take it more easy on the running. Below are some exercises that may help you. You may also want to try taking an anti inflammatory after you stretch or work out if it is bothering you.
The other issues that you are having i am not too sure about. The itching and dryness may be due to excesive sweating and you just may need to shower well after you exercise everytime, also try goldbond. that works wonders for my Fiance. The other issue with trouble with urinating doesnt sound right. Try the stretching of your groin and thigh and see if that problem subsides after that. If it doesnt you should see a doctor. Good luck with everything!
