Does Nair affect cuts?!

Question:

Does Nair affect cuts?

I recently used Nair on my underarms and didn't realize I had a cut on my arm. It's one of those cuts where you don't bleed, it just turns red and puffy (so I guess it isn't really a cut). I may have put the Nair cream on part of this "cut", but I'm not sure. I rinsed it repeatedly in the shower with soap and lukewarm water, drenched it in peroxide and put neosporin on it for the night. Is there anything else I can do? And is it really dangerous to get Nair on a cut like this?

Answers:

I think you have done enough by flushing the product out of the cut and it would be good to wash the site every day and keep Neosporin on it continuously until it heals. I'm surprised that didn't burn a great deal when you initially got Nair in the cut! As far as long term affects to your system, there is not much it can do to harm you, once washed off. Hope you get better soon!
