What drugs can I use to help my arthritic pain?!

Question:

What drugs can I use to help my arthritic pain?

I currently use prescribed 500 mg of ibprofin but Im afraid im going to fry my kidneys. Indeed I already have had kidney stones. I have used prescribed Naproxen with great improvements in the pain but I would get some stomach upset occasionally.

OTC's aren't strong enough, so please don't recommend anything like that.

Is there any other options.

Answers:

I have taken Voltaren 75 mg. twice a day for over 17 years. If I miss a dose, I get extremely stiff and unable to walk. Any medication can have adverse affects on your liver or kidneys but you have to make a choice between living with the pain or getting some help. I chose some help!
