How do I stop underarm odor?!

Question:

How do I stop underarm odor?

I have seen doctors and dermatologist in regards to my underarm sweating and odor. The sweating has decreased but the odor is still present. I have tried oral medication, certain dri, and drysol. The odor will not go away. I bathe frequently and use antibacterial soap but it doesn't seem to help. I was even told to try rubbing alcohol and that does not help. I'm not overweight. Any suggestions.

I am a 30 year old female. I have tried Mitchum but it didn't seem to work. I will try some of the other suggestions.

Answers:

Try a paste of baking soda and vinegar and leave it on overnight. (Wait until it stops foaming to put it on) Gently rinse in the morning and DO NOT wash with soap, just water. Sometimes when you use a lot of cleansing agents in that area, especially anti-bacterial, the body over compensates the loss of all bacteria and over produces odor causing bacteria. A soak of baking soda and vinegar should neutralize the odor and give you a fresh start in the morning. Also, new on the market is clinical strength Secret. You do not mention whether you are male or female, but either way I have heard good things about this product. You could also try Mitchum. If you are male, try using a female's deodorant and vise versa. I really hope I have helped you.
