Why can't I just go to bed at a decent hour?!
Question: Why can't I just go to bed at a decent hour?
I stay up late every night and in the morning when I have to get up with my 13 month old daughter, I am so tired. I tell myself in the morning that I'm going to go to bed earlier that night but I never do. Most of my adult life I've worked jobs on the late shift because I am not a morning person. I know that I'm going to need to really start going to bed at a decent hour before my daughter gets older but I just can't understand what my problem is. If I go lay down in bed, I'm not tired and I'll either toss and turn or just start playing on my phone (mostly Y! Answers mobile version). I can't take sleepong pills (because of my daughter). Does anyone else do this? Or has anyone used to do this but you've found a way to make yourself go to bed earlier?
Answers:
You've screwed up your sleeping schedule. When this happens to me, what I do is stay up all night, and don't go to sleep until like, 9 or 10 the next night. Hopefully, this will get your schedule back on track soon! Best to do it on a weekend so you aren't groggy at work.
I've tried and tried and just can't seem to tune my biological clock with most peoples. So I just embraced it and stay up and wake up when I feel like it
