Has anyone gone through the INDOMETROSIS surgury?
What is it like? does it take a while to get better? anything you know on the subject would be AMAZING!

I had the surgery about 3 months ago. It is not as bad as I thought it would be. I had numerous patches and spent about an hour in surgery. It took about 2 hours for recovery and then I went home from the hospital. After that, I slept for about 2 days (medication and anesthesia sp?). You are in a bit of pain for about a week because it hurts to get up and down - but it is nothing to be afraid of - it is nothing you cant handle. It is more unconfortable than anything. It took me about a week to get over. Do take it easy and plan to be out of work a week. Good luck - it is worth it - 3 months after surgery i have very little to no ednometrosis pain.
