What's a quick way to (at least temporarily) reduce lower back pain?!

Question: What's a quick way to (at least temporarily) reduce lower back pain?
So I'm moving tomorrow and of course I procrastinated and left almost all of the packing to the last night and OF COURSE I pulled a muscle in my back last night while I was sleeping (how I did it is beyond me). So I need to know how I can at least make the pain stop for the night! Anybody have any exercises or anything that I can try? Tylenol hasn't done anything. Perhaps I should just have a few drinks to numb the pain? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answers:

Apply some ben gay, take four ibuprofen every eight hours. You can alternate 2 tylenol every 4 while you are taking the ibuprofen. Just do not take more than 8 tylenol in a 24 hour period of time, and get one of those heat wraps at the store. They have the ones that last eight hours. I believe they are called Thermacare. I love those at work, and for ladytime cramps. =)

Good luck moving.

Take a hot shower. as hot as you can stand on the most painful spot.

Try advil , or even aspirin. Any anti-infamatory.

Use single dose 3 globules of Rhus Tox 1M.

With best wishes.

Medicines are to be used in consultation with Doctor.
