A doctor injured my husband what should we do about it.?!

Question:

A doctor injured my husband what should we do about it.?

First they took blood for the first to see what wrong with him and got blood. The machine that test his blood broke. They said he had high potassium. So needed more blood from him but the blood would come out of his veins. They test on same machine that is broke. Again they say he has high potassium. Now try my husbands vein in his groin they get no blood from there either now he is in alot pain. Then they try his vein in his neck they get no blood from there either. Now he is even in more pain. We leave the hospital against medical advise. We went to another hospital the next day and they draw his blood the test come back no high potassium just he is fatigued. He went there on July 5, 2007 now it is July 12, 2007 he is still hurting in his neck and groin. So what sould we do now. Plus the doctors worried me to the point I was stressed out I was very afraid he would die. Also I am diabteic I had not eaten nothing but toast that morning I did not have any change to anything to eat.

He did not have a enough fluids in him thats why they could not get the blood. The Machine Took His Blood Was Broke They Kept Using The Broke Machine Each His They Took Blood. Also they took his blood the wrong way for the test for high potassium. The kept band around his arm tight then took the little bit of blood tested it. I went on www.webmd.com looked up high potassium if it done that way it will read high levels of potassium. I am not even a doctor I know this information. I will be going to college to become a nurse.

Answers:

Well, you can file a complaint with your states medical board that holds doctors accountable.

You can contact the hospital adminstrator OR you could contact a malpractice attorney to see if you have a case.

Either way, file a complaint against the doctor with your states medical board.
