my mother tripped and fell about 10 minutes ago in her garage[she landed on top of the vaccum cleaner] as a resulf of the fall.. she has a HUGE gash on her neck about 1 inch deep. and it's bleeding but not too bad. i think she might need some stiches and since i can't drive her myself i was thinking about calling 911. but she won't let me call 911, i know this is stupid to ask this question but what would you do in my situation.

Just call 911. From my experience it can get things resolved quicker than sitting in the Emergency Room for hours. Are you sure it's 1inch deep? That's like a really big gash...I don't care if your mom tell you not to, if it looks bad just call. It definitely needs to be checked out. I've dealt with people like that many times. She'll thank you later.
