Sharp shooting pains in my right side help?!

What have you eaten recently? It almost sounds like you have gas building up, and that can definitely cause sharp pains when it starts hitting other organs. Just think of the tv episodes, or movies where someone has all this stomach pain, and then lets a good one rip, and they're fine. That happens in real life too. Constipation can also cause this sort of feeling. Try laying on your left side, and shifting to your right. You can also massage the muscles gently. By laying down you are taking weight off your lungs, and allowing the gas to move (if that is the problem). If the pain is in the lower right side, above the appendix, then it is time to get to the ER if you feel sick.

Possibilities:
Cramps- lay down for a while.
Appendicitis- go see a doctor.
Sick- drink Sprite, no dairy products.
