Tetnis help please?!

Tetnis help please?

Ok well today i got a tetnis shot becaus the last on the record for me in 10 years ago that i had it and today when i got back home i found out that i got i a couple years ago in a record i found out that i got one in 2003, so that means i have a over dose, is this bad? should i go back to the doctor?

Answers:

No don't worry about it, it is a vaccine, you can't overdose on it. In fact it will protect you against tetanus for the next 5 years. It stimulates your immune system to build antibodies ( the stuff that makes the tetanus toxin inactive should you get it in your system).

At least you don't have to face the needle for another 5 years!!
