Bruised thumb?!

Bruised thumb?

Well i bruised my thumb abut 3 weeks ago, no pains persist but inside my thumbnail it looks to be purple.
Now can anyone tell me how long it will take for the purple under my thumbnail to diminish? ( pretty sure it is dead blood )

Depending on how badly you bruised it and if the bruise is right up under the nail it may not go away until that part of the nail grows out.
