No medical card, need to go to emergency (Canada)?
My boyfriend has to go to the emergency but his new medical card is in the mail. He does not have his old one anymore either. What will happen if he goes to the hospital anyways?
Answers:
I know in our area they just let you in on good faith. It wouldn't hurt to have proof of citizenship if you can't find anything, but if you have on an old hospital card has all his health card information on it.
