Left Knee Question?

My left knee gives me problems at times especially when I walk. I do have Arthritis and I do take Motrin as needed. Why does my left knee seem to bother me more in the summer time than in the winter?

I asked my rheumatologist about this one time during one of my visits and he told me that there are a certain few people that have a problem with heat instead of cold. The way he described it was like this: hot, cold, wet, dry.

At first I wasn't sure what this meant and then it dawned on me that even though many people do better in warmer weather there are a certain few that do have a problem, especially if they live in an area that has high humidity during the summer.
