I know I've asked this Q before but I'm just not getting a good answer! can you please see if you know ?

My foot has been swelling up on me for the last 2 weeks and I getting kinda concerned about it. yes I do plan on going to the doctor if it continues but I really want an answer now of what it could be. I'm thinking its a little more of a serious problem.

first: I'm overweight
second: diabetes runs in my family
third: my moms feet used to swell bad but we always thought it was because of her drinking.
forth: its not swoll when I get up in the mornings
fifth: it is fluid cause when I push on it, then the impressions stay there.
sixth: high blood pressure really runs in the family

see so I'm getting a little worried. do you know why it would swell. its only my left foot and ankle. and I have not injured it or got a bite. its something internal. Has anyone had this happen to them? thanks for listening and please try and help.

nothing else has changed in my life or body. I'm not sore anywhere and I fell good. i'm not eating or drinking anything differently either. i'm scared

the swelling you describe is called pitting edema, and it may indicate a heart problem. Don't wait to see if it continues, get your self to a doctor and get it checked out.
