Has anyone been unfortunate enough to suffer the same health problem as the top !

Question:

Has anyone been unfortunate enough to suffer the same health problem as the top man in Wales?

If you or anyone you know have, did you find the NHS as fast and efficient as they seem to have been in his case? Or do you think a bit of favourtism may have come into play ? Best wishes to him by the way. I poped in to Newport A&E on Sunday and was disgusted to find it was a cramped porta cabin in the car park which at 1pm was full and very uncomfortable looking. A Scene which reminded me of the old DHSS offices that the government fought for so long to make more user friendly.I recken i'de still be there now if i'de sat or stood in the que( I was after information about a visit by ambulance earlier in the week by the way)

Answers:

Hi yes my mother in law went into the heath last thursday and had her angioplasty done on Monday afternoon the same day as our top man, she was treated really well. But i do know what you are saying about the newport hospital, it is an awful place i had to wait nearly 9 hours with my mum who is 78 and a chronic sufferer with breathing problems in the end i had to get agitated in order for them to deal with her. It scares me to think what the nhs will be like when i and my generation get older.
Also i must say i have worked in the top mans home and he is a genuine man i cant say too much because of confidentiality, but honest he is so down to earth and very well mannered.
