Did anyone ever get really sore wrist after wearing wrist splints for carpal tun!

Question:

Did anyone ever get really sore wrist after wearing wrist splints for carpal tunnel?

I wore them for a few nights to bed now my wrist have been sore for a couple of weeks so i quit wearing, but still sore.

Answers:

Ouch, I hear that a lot.
Look for a massage therapist in you area that practices Repetitive Use Injury Therapy. It is a non-invasive treatment for carpal tunnel that I have found to work very well for myself and my clients. I have seen people go from almost crippling pain and weakness to full function and no pain within weeks.
the basic idea is to stretch the muscles of the forearm to reduce the inflammation and congestion within the wrist.

If you can not find one then I'd check with piano teachers, yoga instructors, sports massage therapist or personal trainers who can show you how to stretch the muscles in your forearm.

Good Luck I know your pain
