Heat exhaustion?!

Question:

Heat exhaustion?

I was playing soccer in a park and it was 90+ degrees outside and 80+% humidity and I got heat exaustion (I'm not sure but I think rosacea makes me more susceptible to it). It is the day after the incident and I dont have any more nausea but I still have a mild headache and feel sort of weak. Today was my first day of college and I had to get my blood pressure taken for a PhysEd class. My blood pressure was pretty high for an 18 year old and my heart rate was high.

Could heat exhaustion be the cause of it? or is it more likely to be nevousness from the first day of class? or maybe both?

Oh yeah ... I plan on getting in better shape ... that should make me less susceptible right?

Answers:

I would say probably both but it does take several days to recover fully from heat exhaustion.
