What could cause stabbing pain in one heel, felt under the skin, while at rest?

RLS sounds likely, I also have fasciculations (muscle twitching) body-wide but mostly in my legs. Thanks for your answer.

well i had feelings like that before and my dr. said it was Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) causes severe tingling/poking pain right? talk to your doctor, the rls meds really help!
