Brain Tumors?!

Question:

Brain Tumors?

My mother died of a brain tumor and lately (well for six months now) I have been getting bad headaches and migraines which the doctor just gives me pills for...could I have a tumor?

Answers:

Tumors can be passed down. Just to make sure I would go and tell the doctor specifically to check and make sure that you dont have it. Better safe then sorry. Also it could be your mind just playing tricks, maybe you are worried that you will possibly get a brain tumor so every pain that is in your head to you is seen as a tumor. Or one develpoing.. My grandmother had a brain tumor and it was removed successfully.. Here are some symptoms of brain tumors..The most common symptoms include headaches, which can be most severe in the morning; nausea or vomiting, which can be most severe in the morning; seizures or convulsions; difficulty thinking, speaking, or finding words; personality changes; weakness or paralysis in one part or one side of the body; loss of balance; vision changes; confusion and disorientation; and memory loss. Different parts of the brain control different functions, so symptoms will vary depending on the tumor’s location. While these are the most common symptoms of a brain tumor, they can also indicate other medical problems. If you are having any of these symptoms, it is important to see your doctor and get a definitive diagnosis. I wish you the best =]

Good Luck
