Question:
NURSE, DOCTOR im experiencing pain... what could it could be?
i have back pain and server lower abdominal pain that feels like period pain but im mid cycle, my legs hurt. pain all the way down my thighs. urinating more than usual.
i went to the doctor but he said it was my colon!? im not so sure it is coz i know when im having bowel problems. this feels like something else. pain throughout lower abdominal area - from left to right.
any suggestions?

doctor did a urine test and no kidney or appendix problems at all. all that is normal. he said the only other option would be to go to the gyno.

HE DID A URINE TEST IN FRONT OF ME AND THE RESULTS WERE NORMAL!! NO KIDNEY STONES, BLADDER INFECTIONS OR APPENDIX PROBLEMS!! I SAW THE TEST RESULTS MYSELF!
Answers:
It could be ovarian, uterine or fallopian....etc? Possibly ectopic pregnancy. Perhaps uterine polyps and/or cysts?
Need more details as to WHY your dc 'claims' it is colon related? Did they do a scope, or an ultrasound or Xray?? It could be that you are constipated and IMPACTED? Perhaps? It could be many things. So, I do suggest that you ask for an ultrasound to see if you have a bowel obstruction, and then once (if) that is ruled OUT....perhaps you would benefit in seeing a gynocologist after all.
Pain "that low" in the abdomen, has got to be either bowel, bladder or uterine. Be serious in DEMANDING that you get checked for ovarian cysts, polyps and as well the same for your uterus and tubes.
