are sprained knees the most painful types of sprains I was just wondering in order from most painful to least what the most painful sprains are.

Really it depends on how bad you sprain something for it to be the worst type of sprain. For me my ankle and back have been the worst sprains that I've had just because of how badly they were sprained. You can really sprain anything that has muscles, ligaments, tendons and soft tissue.
