simple excuse could be that your wife is predominantly in a flexed position (bent forward @ the hips) throughout the day & night & has developed contractures, or in the least, adhesions to keep her that way;; the body responds to what we do to it;; how old is she, does she sit all day, does she lay flat on her back ever, does she sleep on her side all night or continuously sleeps with pillows under her knees, does she walk erect or hunched over?? talk to her doc, find out from that doc what treatment plan you can help her with after he diagnoses the problem...
