What are premature seizures caused by in younger children?
my sister just had one last night. she had one about 1 year ago then we took her to the doctor's and they said she was fine and nothing was wrong with her... were taking he again today.
someone told me it may be her diet.

My daughter had a seizure when she was about 18mths old. I forget the name that they gave the seizure, it was a mans name. She had a fever and it all of a sudden spiked and then she had her seizure. Both EMS and her pediatrician described it to me as her brain shutting down because it was over heating and then restarting itself. They said they were rare and that she would probably never have one again. I don't know your sister's condition, but it seems going to recieve medical care is the best thing to do.
