Could this be a blood clot??? quickly please!?!

Question:

Could this be a blood clot??? quickly please!?

Ok, 21, male, dont smoke or drink, no meds.

my right leg hurts behind the knee, slightly above and below....its a dull vague pain....its fine at a rest in the right position....but pain increases after walking some...but not enough to keep me from jogging or walking....

there is no swelling ( i measured my legs at all spots), no discolorization, is not hot to the touch or anything...but this pain kinda is annoying....i did not get hit there or anything....

the only thing is, i dont usually stand for a long time, and on saturday, i stood for like 4 hours straight @ a car show.....but i would not expect the pain to last all of sunday and into today...

when i was at the doctor, and i mentioned it today, he did not really check it, he just grabbed my calf muscle on both legs, jotted somthing down in his notebook and went on to a different subject.

Answers:

This is not a blood clot. A blood clot usually has a red warm raised area and is very painful. Call your doc and ask him what he felt it was. My one question is WHY DIDN'T you ask him what he felt it was before you left the office? It is your responsibility to ask those things before you leave the office. If the doc seems rushed then pin him down so to speak but do not leave the office or clinic without asking what you want to know. Since you didn't ask him you need to call his office back and ask.
