ok so I was running down the block to catch my dog when I didn't see the curb and rolled my ankle over. At first I didn't think anything of it and just kept running...I love my dog. but when I got home . notice the shooting pain going up my leg when I did the stairs. It has turn dark blueish purple and EXTREMLY swollen.I cant go to the doctor due to I am out of the country at the moment...I need to help with what I can do in my hotel room. I have nothing to brace or splint it with so dont tell me to do the RICE thingy...please help

ok so now I discovered that I can put a bit of weight on it and my dog came back yay!!!

You need to go to the emergency room at the nearest hospital. Even if you think it's a sprain or bruise. You need to be sure. You need to have x-rays taken of your ankle. This exact thing happened to my nephew. He decided to go to the emergency room the next day and was wheeled into the operating room. He had 2 screws inserted in his ankle. Good luck. Hope it's not serious.
