I have a girlfriend that smokes and i don't smoke or want to smoke. What should i do?

Talk to her when you are both calm. You have reason to be concerned over your own health and when you care for someone, their health is important to you. Smoking may be difficult for her to stop and so you should plan to be patient.

Try setting some limits. She needs to go outside for a walk to smoke. Tell her you don't want to have to witness her hurting herself this way.

Look for resources in your community that may be helpful if she needs support. Many hospitals or communities have programs to help people quit.

Remember, it is her health and her decision. You cannot make her do it. Help her to see how much her health matters and if she does care, she will want to protect your health as well.
