My fiance and I are getting married and I need to know how much is the strandard "donation" to the minister?

We live in a small (pop. 3000) upstate NY village.

Well, I think it depends on where you live and on the size and content of the ceremony. We just got married and we live in a small town in upstate NY as well.. The minister came to our house and we "donated" $50. It was a small ceremony...fairly quick...20 minutes. I hope this helps.
