Peeled Knuckle skin wont completely heal?
I've been practicing on the makiwara (wooden board for conditioning the bones, particularly the fists) since a long time.
When my knuckle skin peels off I stop hitting until it's healed, but it never gets back to normal. My skin only healed to a certain point and is sort of dead as i can't feel anything when touching it.
But the final layer just will NOT heal, it's been a long time. It looks red and still wont heal.

the parts that "feel dead" are probably calluses, which are a good thing to have. As for the red part, is it painful? If it's just red, no pain, it's probably scar tissue. If it is painful, try using neosporine and a bandage and if it still won't heal, go to a doctor.
