what should I expect after the procedure? should I take the rest of the day off from work if my test is in the morning?

what about the day before? I understand the prep proccess is no fun - I don't have my prep kit yet so do not know if it is the gallon jug or the pills or what???

Yes you should b/c they put you under. Also the prep the night before is much worse than the procedure. They give you a script to clean you out so when you go poo it's totally clear. It's no fun but a must so that they can get good results from the scope. Good luck.
