What causes a stroke?I have pain in the left arm top to middle of arm so I'm really trying to see what's wrong

Do these three things in front of a mirror:
1. Smile
2. Bring your arms straight out, shoulder level
3. Say a complete sentence
If you can't do any one of these things, there's a chance you're having a stroke.
The left arm pain tells me it could be your heart. Unless you've done something to strain a muscle or something like that, go to the e.r. and get yourself evaluated. Don't waste any more time.
