use something called butterfly strips, and a good vitamin E cream, such as Webbers Vitamin E cream. Use it constantly for a couple of days.
If it is a long cut, you would probably be best getting stitches. Make sure you go to an emergency doctor, they have more experience doing stitches, and will less likely leave a scar.
