Is 'Extra' chewing gum bad for you?!

Question: Is 'Extra' chewing gum bad for you?
I decided to get some chewing gum, but I decided to get chewing gum from the brand called 'Extra'. I noticed on their packaging it says "Scientifically proven to help reduce bacteria that cause bad breath" and it also says "sugar free".

So does that mean it is healthy? I suppose you are not adding any calories to your body as you do not swallow chewing gum. By the sounds of it, it seems like it is basically toothpaste in your mouth.

if you eat too much you may get a laxative effect but i have one in the morning everyday because ifeel its cleans my teeth better and i am perfectly fine

The latest medical news is that any fake sugar like "Nutrasweet," "Splenda," etc. are poison, and they actually have the same number of calories as the all natural sugar!

It depends how much you chew. I would say everything in moderation. :)

Nurse.

Every sugar-free mint chewing gum is like that. Not something you should be too worried about.

uh yeah sure if it says it kills bacteria in your mouth and sugar free. better choice of gum than any other brand i guess.
